Following a successful seminar with church leaders in Mombasa during August 2008, our first AFMIN On10 School was held in February 2009.
For the next three (3) years, we will be holding On10 Schools in Mombasa and Nakuru.
Please return to the Karibu Main Page for more information about our recent seminar in Mombasa, under the heading “East African Visit February 2009”.

Kenya – the country and it’s people

It is my impression that Kenya has some of the best drivers in the world. We make use of taxis and buses to reach our destinations. Although there are traffic lights, these seem to be ignored, and we still need to get used to this reality! To ride in a taxi in Nairobi’s inner city on a Friday night is an experience on it’s own. At times, it appears that 6 cars are using two lanes at the same time. And yet, we have never felt that our lives are in danger. Kenyan drivers are champions!
Regarding accommodation, Mayfield Guesthouse is the best! One really feels at home at there. The hospitality of the staff is wonderful. The guesthouse is popular amongst missionaries and as long as I visit Nairobi, I hope to be able to stay at the Mayfield.
