An Afmin Conference was held in Mombasa Kenya during July 2012. We gathered in the Mombasa Pentecostal Church. We were blessed by the attendance of 137 pastors and church leaders. Bishop Leonard Daffa from Tanzania, Pastor Aaron Maingi from Nairobi in Kenya and I (Johan) were privileged to minister at the Conference.
Bishop Daffa shared on the blessings in the Family. He highlighted that God wants to restore the family, as in heaven so be it on the earth.
The orphan spirit of Abram was the subject of my first message. It is interesting to read how the Lord encouraged Abram with some wonderful promises in Genesis 12. God spoke using the words “I will…” because Abram had not yet experienced God as “I AM”. Later in Genesis 14, we read that Abram meets Melchizedek, the king of Salem and the priest of El Elyon (the Most High God). Melchizedek gave him bread and wine and he blessed him twice in the name of El Elyon, creator of heaven and earth. It was here that Abram discovered who he was in God and no longer had to feel like an orphan. This was evident when Abram gave Melchizedek one-tenth of everything he owned.
My 2nd message was about the Foundation of God. The foundation that God has set in place is like the hard-drive that carries all of God’s principles that govern Heaven and Earth. Unfortunately, we have often built incorrectly through misinterpretation of the Scriptures. At present, throughout the earth, God is shaking the foundations to shake away anything that is not of Him and to allow us to be rebuilt in the truth of His Word.
Pastor Maingi ministered on dreams and visions and how it benefits the Kingdom of God.
All in all it was a wonderful 2 days of impartation. Also we recruited 50 new students for our next Afmin On10 School, starting 5 November 2012 – 7 November 2012 in Mombasa.
