Bomb Blast Testimony

We received the following testimony from Elsalia Mumbo of Mombasa.

Praise God, I hope you are well together with your family. Am well, with my family and church.

It was on 29-3-2012 when we begun a crusade organised by the Mtwapa Pastor's fellowship.   We as the fellowship officials had prayed and fasted for 3 days so that God would show us who would preach at the crusade. The Lord confirmed to three Pastors that I and another Pastor would preach.  I would never have thought that I would be chosen for such a noble thing among more than 50 Pastors. We met on 12-3-12 and was told of that. The only confirmation was 2nd Cor 4v7 'that the excellency of power may be of God, not of us.' This Word was very strong in my spirit and also 1st John 5.4.

I preached the second day, and had experienced a very tough spiritual battle before I went to the platform. I asked the Lord what I would say and told me to just speak about Him and Who He is. So I just spoke about Jesus that He can be compared to none, from the prophecy about Him before His birth, about His life, His death and resurrection.

The third day I felt very weak and prayed with much tears for strength to even stand and finish the sermon. As I was climbing up the platform I asked the Lord what I should do because I felt very unusual. He told me to tell the people to lift Jesus. I told the praise and worship team to come back on stage and to only sing songs that lift Jesus. After singing for about 10 minutes I was told to tell the people to stop singing and pray. As we were praying I felt in my spirit that the Spirit searches all things and at that I told the congregation to pray in the Spirit though I know that it is not usual for people to do so in a crusade, but I chose to obey.

We worshiped for a long time in new tongues then I was told to open my eyes for a bomb can fall before me but He did not tell me it is going to be thrown. So I opened my eyes and I was told to read the Bible. I took my bible and read Mark 5v24-34. Before I could close the Bible, I lifted my eyes before me and I saw something like a stone fall and then the bang and smoke about 4 or 5 meters away from me.

The screams were all over, bleeding people and every thing changed making the crusade come to a premature ending. One teenage girl died on the spot, 36 others were injured , some seriously and were admitted to hospital where two other children died. Some of the injured included my son and some members of our church. I was not touched but watched in anguish,  the dear people whom I was leading to a few minutes ago.  Then I realized that was it not for mighty presence of the Lord during the worship and His mercy, more havoc would have done.

I give God all the glory.
