Mombassa Graduation 2011

Alta and I arrived in Mombasa for the first time on the 30th July 2008. The Lord had given us a special Scripture (Matthew 5:13-16) and we were excited to take His message to the people of this Indian Ocean Island. (Mombasa is surrounded by sea!). The Church welcomed us and soon we began to make new friends.
Being part of the Afmin Schools in Mombasa has been a wonderful experience. From our first visit, we have seen God’s people on this island grow in their knowledge and faith in Christ Jesus. They have also captured the Kingdom of God teachings and their desire to learn more remains unsaturated.
Recently 70 students attended a week of classes, including a teaching on marriage, after which they renewed their wows. On the Saturday morning, we graduated 57 fourth year students, all of whom had completed their 3 year Afmin Diploma Course with honors. The Course consists of 37 subjects – all of which are very practical and can easily be applied in ministry.
Congratulations to all the graduates. We look forward to hearing your testimonies in the years to come.
